Once a man named Ted Sallis, Man-Thing is shown in his terrifying mutated form, a creature made of swampland and sewage, a beast without feeling or compassion. Though he often finds himself an accidental hero or villain when other heroes stumble into his swamp, Man-Thing has no real affiliation, only an animal neutrality. On the rare occasion in some comics, Sallis can regain his human mind and, rarer still, his form, but for most of his life he remains trapped in the body he accidentally created when he injected himself with a chemical serum. This 8-inch Marvel Legends does justice to the creature that is Man-Thing, featuring expert detailing on both the sculpt and the swamp-inspired base.
