Martin Jones, insignificant pastor of the small Church of the Sons of Ezekiel, is visited by someone who calls himself a messenger of God and performs a miracle. The small-time preacher soon becomes the charismatic leader of millions of faithful. May 1949, Namibia. Kathy Austin is in a coma.
