Mighty Mask is a finalist in the 25th World Martial Arts Tournament, though he never competes after being knocked out by Trunks before the matches begin. Trunks and Goten steal his costume and unknowingly enter the tournament under his name, even mistaking him at first for “Spopovich.” While fighting Android 18, they transform into Super Saiyans to gain an edge, but this exposes their true identities. Android 18 cuts their disguise apart, leading to their disqualification since teams weren’t allowed, forcing the boys to flee.
